Data we process
We process account and profile data, language, country and city, settings, consent records, saved items, content and proportionate technical logs for security and operation.
Account and security
Email is used to verify accounts, recover access and send essential notices. Supabase handles passwords; FRIKImap cannot read them. Administrative accounts temporarily use password and role-based access; the TOTP second factor is disabled.
Analytics
We measure visits, sessions, views, searches, favourites, contact actions, plan interest, content country, device type and whether the service is used as a website or installed app. We use random technical or account identifiers where appropriate and do not store IP addresses in our analytics table.
Email marketing
Marketing requires separate and optional consent. Email verification and legal acceptance do not replace it. Consent can be withdrawn from Settings or through an unsubscribe link.
Providers
Supabase provides authentication, database, functions and storage. Email may be sent through the mailbox already included with our Hostinger hosting. To place businesses and events on the map, the public address entered —street, postcode, city, region and country— is sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim when location is requested or submitted. We do not send the account email or other account data in that request, and the result is kept in a private Supabase cache to avoid repeated requests. If payments are enabled, the authorised provider receives only the data required to process and evidence the subscription; FRIKImap will not store full card details.
Visibility, retention and rights
Your nickname may be public; other fields follow your settings. We retain data while the account is active and for necessary periods. You may edit data, withdraw marketing and request deletion from Settings.
